Among many vastu mistakes prevalent in the society, choosing of north-east corner of a house for a pooja room, is one of the major mistakes. Similarly south-west corner also should be avoided. Based on the facing &  plan of a structure, place for a pooja room should be decided.

Unfortunately, the present widely prevalent trend in the society with respect to pooja room preferring a noth-east corner of a structure  is highly detrimental for peace & progress. When a north-east should be devoid of any loads & fire, construction of a mandir and  lighting of lamps can’t give happiness but only difficulties. Like a pooja room in a north-est corner, so many vastu mistakes have cropped into the vastu, ordinary people shall not be found fault with for such wrong vastu  practices.
